Carl Duisberg Centren is a leading service enterprise in the area of international training and qualifications. We promote life-long learning through high-quality language courses, intercultural training, valuable experiences abroad and industry-specific professional training. Carl Duisberg Centren offers programs aimed at people of all ages and career stages, e.g. students venturing out into the world for the first time, working professionals seeking to improve their career perspective or companies on the road to global success. We also manage cross-border educational projects for the international business sector and institutions.
Carl Duisberg Centren is a not-for-profit organization. Our work is directed at serving the public good, specifically, promoting international understanding. Achieving a profit is not our primary corporate purpose, but is necessary in order to continue the sustainable development and economic stability of the organization. We do not receive any state funding. All profits generated are reinvested in the company and are not distributed. The shareholder of Carl Duisberg Centren is the non-profit foundation "Carl-Duisberg-Stiftung für internationale Bildung und Zusammenarbeit."
Carl Duisberg Centren has its headquarters in Cologne and six other locations in Germany: Berlin, Hanover, Munich, Saarbrücken, Radolfzell and the Rhine-Main area. We have an extensive international network to serve our customers worldwide, including representative offices in China, Iran and Malaysia.
In line with our core value "We connect people, cultures and countries", we build bridges that span the language and culture gap. The bridge in our logo visualizes our mission to promote the mutual understanding of different cultures across borders, e.g. helping companies build successful international teams and helping families plan valuable experiences abroad for their children.
"Carl Duisberg Centren is a good example of how it is possible to develop and run successful education programs that promote the common good - without state funding."
